Latest bikes 2012 Husqvarna TC449

The first Husqvarna motorcycles were built in 1903, with victory coming just 13 years later in 1916 at one of best known enduro races of the time, the Novemberkåsan. This laid the foundation for a success story which remains unparalleled to this day.

Today, Husqvarna has crafted a reputation as one of the most storied motorcycle manufacturers in the world and their expertise in the field is no more evident than in the bikes they produce, including the TC449.

The TC449 is the epitome of what a motocross bike is all about. The bike’s revolutionary mechanical design features a gas tank that has been moved below the seat with the fuel cap to the rear. The air filter box is located directly behind the headstock, making the overall set-up more balanced and user friendly. Likewise, the bodywork comes with integrated graphics that not only enhance the design and function of the TC449, but also resolve the problem of adhesives that peel off under the power wash.

Another significant aspect of the TC449 is the new frame, which has been modified at the steering-head area and reinforced with chrome-moly 25CrMo4 steel plates. The rear seat rail and engine supports have also been similarly strengthened while the preload of the Kayaba suspension was reset, allowing for the fork to carry a harder setting.

To lighten and simplify the electrical system, the 2012 Husqvarna TC449 has had its entire wiring completely redesigned. At the heart of it all is a 450cc twin cam four valve engine that’s fed by a Keihin electronic injection and comes with electric start.
