Hero Honda - the world’s largest two-wheeler company revealed its new identity and changed the name of the company on 9th August, 2011. A mega event was held at the majestic O2 Arena on the banks of river Thames, London. Hero Honda is now Hero MotoCorp, the company revealed the new logo and unleashed 2 all-new products - Impulse and Maestro. Hero Impulse is a on-road cum off-road bike while Hero Maestro is a unisex scooter.
The company’s much-awaited new global brand identity was unveiled by Dr. Brijmohan Lall, Chairman and Mr. Pawan Munjal, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, Hero MotoCorp. Oscar-winning music composer A. R. Rahman has composed and sung the new theme song of Hero MotoCorp Ltd., titled “Hum Mein Hai Hero”. Rahman was also present at the glittering function, which saw the reigning star of Hindi cinema, Shah Rukh Khan in the role of anchor. Ranbir Kapoor unveiled the 'Impulse' and Irfan Pathan unleashed the 'Maestro'
