Its price of under Rs.50,000 was attractive but its 150cc engine did not deliver the kind of mileage that the Boxer's target buyers expected. The Boxer is essentially a motorcycle designed for the rural public who travel across rough and difficult terrains.

Bajaj Discover 150 DTSi

At first look this bike doesn’t looks promising in terms of design. Company has failed miserably keeping their statement of “sporty look”. Look wise it just looks like Bajaj Discover 100 CC or the old models of Discover. This bike will allow you to travel places with great fuel efficiency. This bike will give you more excitement per litre. This bike comes with an option of a self start to leave out the option of the kick and also comes with disc brakes. This is a promising bike in 150 CC categories although big compromises have been made to keep the price low. But this bike provides exceptional mileage of about 60 KMPL, which is just too good for an 150 CC engine. This bike is the typical Indian commuter bike with good handling and comfortable ergonomics but with a powerful 150 CC engine. The bike provides quicker acceleration but the top speed is not so eye catching in this bike which doesn’t even cross three figures mark despite of being a 150 CC. The cons of this bike are that it has a small rear tyre and it lacks a digital speedometer.
